Nurse Development Post in Haematology and TYAC

Overview
We are seeking an experienced nurse to support the development of a cancer care specialist in our haematology and TYAC services. As a nurse development post, this role will provide the successful applicant with the skills and experience required to support future applications to become a Cancer Nurse Specialist.
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this role is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Description
This developmental post encompasses all stages of the patient pathway, offering the opportunity to develop skills and experience in chemotherapy knowledge, symptom management, radiotherapy treatments, advanced communication, end of life experience, and skills in audit.
Main Duties
- Assessment, treatment planning, and coordination of patient care, ensuring correct pathways are followed.
- Providing support and specialist nursing advice to patients, their relatives, and other healthcare professionals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Qualified Registered Nurse.
- Managing a team of patients.
- NMC registered nurse.
- Completed Preceptorship.
