We are looking for a highly skilled Staff Grade Hematology Physician to join our team in Plymouth. This 12-month permanent role requires the successful candidate to provide registrar-equivalent cover in Clinical Haematology across multiple settings.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Delivering high-quality patient care in the ward, day unit, and outpatient settings.
  • Leading teams of junior doctors and optimising patient pathways.
  • Developing and maintaining skills in haematology sub-specialties.
  • Participating in on-call duties as part of the 'first on call' haematology middle-grade tier.

The salary for this role is approximately £62,000 per annum. We also offer comprehensive benefits, including CPD training, BLS certification, and excellent referral schemes.

Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience in internal medicine or an ACCS programme (excluding Foundation modules).
  • Expertise in Haematology at registrar level, including safe chemotherapy prescription.
  • Competence in procedures like bone marrow biopsy and intrathecal chemotherapy.
