Pharmacy Support Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Pharmacy Department as an Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Senior Management Team and Pharmacy Service, ensuring efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Manage leave and rostering systems to ensure seamless service delivery
- Assist with reception duties, visitor management, and query handling
- Liaise with estates for maintenance and repairs, and communicate information to staff and external contacts
- Process incoming post, monitor consumables, and order supplies
- Maintain shop stock and pharmacy resources up-to-date
- Work with tight deadlines and prioritize workload effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office for correspondence and document management
- Assist in designing and publishing rotas, and update shared IT folders
- Prioritize work, resolve scheduling conflicts, and support recruitment and induction processes
- Monitor staff attendance and leave, and arrange sickness reviews
- GCSE English and Maths C or above
- Customer care experience, with a focus on delivering high standards of service
- Further training in administrative tasks, with a focus on pharmacy systems and stock control
- Hospital and staff management experience, with a focus on efficient service delivery
- Good communication and customer care skills, with a focus on delivering high standards of service
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on document management and correspondence
- Ability to prioritize workload, work under pressure, and maintain organized and detail-oriented records
