About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our community health service in Brent. The successful candidate will work as an active member of the clinical team, providing a comprehensive Physiotherapy service to residents of the area.


Key Responsibilities



  • Assess and treat patients with complex multi-pathologies, including falls, neurological conditions, musculoskeletal conditions, and age-related disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, working closely with other healthcare professionals and community teams.
  • Supervise junior staff, rehabilitation assistants, and physiotherapy students, promoting professional development and best practice.
  • Contribute to the Single Assessment Process, performing overview assessments and complex specialist assessments as appropriate.

Requirements



  • Degree or diploma in physiotherapy and registration with the Health Care Professions Council.
  • Post-registration experience at Band 6 level, including work in acute care of the elderly, neurology, and community settings.
  • Advanced skills in assessment and treatment, with knowledge of complex medical conditions and their impact on older adults.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • IT skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
