Connaught Resourcing, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Diabetes Specialist Clinician to join their national team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing diabetes within primary care settings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting clinics in community settings, such as GP practices and health centers, and working proactively to identify patients with sub-optimally controlled Type 2 diabetes. Key responsibilities include optimising oral therapy, conducting point-of-care testing, and referring patients for specialist insulin treatment when necessary.

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a minimum of 3 years' experience managing diabetes within primary care, hold a diabetes diploma or equivalent, and possess excellent knowledge and skills in patient education, support, and advice. Additionally, they should be confident in the provision of guidance on oral hypoglycaemics and have a full driving licence.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £45,000 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package including an annual bonus incentive scheme worth up to 10% of the annual salary, car allowance or company car, and private medical insurance.
