Specialist Dietitian for Adult Diabetes Care

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced diabetes specialist dietitian to lead our inpatient and outpatient diabetes services. As a key member of the UHBW diabetes service, you will work closely with the wider MDT to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective diabetes care pathways, working closely with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on carbohydrate counting, insulin adjustments, and insulin pumps to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Lead the dietetic element of the diabetes pathway, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with peers and colleagues.
To be successful in this role, you will require significant experience in chronic disease management - diabetes focused, and experience of training dietetic students at all grades. Strong teaching/presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals are essential.
About the BenefitsThe salary for this role is between £46,148 - £52,809 per annum, pro rata. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.
