We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Paediatric Long-term Ventilation team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide specialist clinical psychology services for children and young people with long-term ventilation needs.
Main Responsibilities- Provide consultation, direct work, and attend multidisciplinary clinics to support children and young people with long-term ventilation needs.
- Work closely with the medical service multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective psychological interventions.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of training and education programs for staff.
- Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming and growing Clinical Psychology Department, which incorporates specialisms in Paediatric Psychology, Adult Medical Psychology, and Child and Adult Neuropsychology. The department offers a supportive environment for professional development and clinical supervision.
Requirements- Completed (or due to complete in 2024) post-graduate doctoral level DClinPsy in clinical psychology as accredited by the BPS.
- Current HCPC registration for Clinical Psychologist (or eligibility to qualify for registration in 2024).
- Evidence of continuing professional development as recommended by the BPS/HCPC.
