Job Description

As a Support Service Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality domestic and catering services to patients, staff, and visitors. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment across our hospitals and health centers.

The predominant purpose of this role is to:

  • Provide high-quality domestic services, ensuring that patient rooms, public areas, and other facilities are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Ensure that all cleaning schedules, methods, and procedures are followed according to NHS Scotland National Cleaning Specification and Healthcare Acquired Infection (HAI) Task Force Code of Practice.
About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our facilities team at Leverndale & Dykebar Hospital Campus. As a Support Service Assistant, you will work closely with our teams to provide a high-quality service to patients and staff.

Your duties will include:

  • Presenting an efficient and high-quality service to patients and staff.
  • Following specific schedules of work relating to defined areas.
Requirements

We are looking for individuals who possess excellent communication skills, a flexible approach to daily routine, and a commitment to delivering high-quality services. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, using mechanical cleaning equipment and adhering to strict cleaning schedules and protocols.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £25,500 per annum, pro rata for part-time hours. In addition to your salary, you will receive a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities, a pension scheme, and generous annual leave entitlement.
