Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for Commercial Operations to join our team in the Construction sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial management, with experience in managing teams and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and support the MEP function in the production of monthly reporting data and liaise with the Project Control Team to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Lead and collaborate with area commercial leads to ensure commercial teams are functioning optimally and aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain specific cost and performance reporting for the MEP function, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
- Liaise with Project Controls to ensure commercial activities are up-to-date and accurately reflected in the BUF.
- Coordinate the Cost Verification Framework, working closely with core teams to gather data and address queries.
- Assist in the risk drawdown process with Project Controls, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective risk management.
- Post-graduate commercial experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of achievement in business development and commercial operations.
- Demonstrable financial and commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of legal, contractual, and construction principles.
- A creative and innovative approach to problem-solving, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
