About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy General Manager to join our team at Slim Chickens. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all Company standards are met, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions
  • Ensure all staff are well briefed on their responsibilities and receive constant supervision and motivation
  • Attend management and staff meetings, ensuring all team members are fully briefed and action points are recorded and achieved
  • Build and maintain an efficient team, all driven towards achieving business objectives
  • Demonstrate high standards of restaurant quality, service, hygiene, and health and safety
  • Recruit and select employees to agreed staffing levels using cost-effective recruitment methods
  • Support the delivery of all key training, identifying training needs and capability gaps within the team
  • Display exemplary and professional attitude and appearance at all times
  • Ensure all customer requests and feedback are responded to promptly and efficiently
  • Work in back-of-house helping and training the team during peak times
  • Comply with all legislative and Company Food Hygiene and Health & Safety requirements

Requirements

  • Proven leadership expertise and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience working in a management position within the catering and hospitality industry
  • High level of communication skills with the ability to effectively coach and develop managers and team members
