We're seeking a seasoned leader to head our Content Marketing and Innovation team. As a key member of the Innovation and Digital Leadership Team, you'll drive the strategic direction for Content Marketing and Innovation, advocating for both disciplines across the organization.

About the Role

You'll lead a team of 18, including up to 5 direct reports, responsible for national website content and supporting regional and property teams through our devolved publishing model. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the Communications and Marketing directorate and the wider organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic direction for Content Marketing and Innovation
  • Act as a senior advocate for both disciplines
  • Work closely with the Head of Digital Products to shape the development of new ways to deliver relevant and effective web content
  • Embed innovation across the organization, not just digital
Requirements
  • Knowledge of innovation theories and approaches, as well as content marketing and content design best practice
  • Experience of building high-performing teams and managing stakeholders
  • Collaborative working style, comfortable in group settings, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
