Clinical Specialist Midwife Continuity of Care Leader

This is a challenging and rewarding role for a clinical specialist midwife to lead a continuity team and provide care to a defined caseload of patients. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a registered midwife and a recognized management qualification.
The team provides safe maternity care for those living in the most deprived areas, and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the dignity in care agenda and the ability to interpret and apply appropriate research findings.
The role involves working in a multidisciplinary team, providing intrapartum support for patients booked for care with the named team, and covering an on-call rota. The successful candidate will be able to evidence knowledge of the Child Protection processes and have experience of caring for families where there are safeguarding concerns.
