About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Midwife to join our Continuity of Care team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care to a defined caseload of patients, working in a team continuity model to reduce maternal and neonatal deaths, stillbirths, and hypoxic-ischaemic encephalopathy.

In line with our Equity and Equality Strategy, you will provide safe maternity care for those living in the most deprived areas, achieving health outcomes that are as good as those with the best health outcomes.

You will work in the capacity of a clinical specialist, covering an on-call rota and providing intrapartum support for patients booked for care with your named team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to a defined caseload of patients in a team continuity model
  • Work in partnership with other agencies to provide safe maternity care for those living in the most deprived areas
  • Cover an on-call rota and provide intrapartum support for patients booked for care with your named team
Requirements
  • Registered Midwife with NMC for a minimum of 3 years
  • Degree/Diploma in Midwifery
  • Compliant with 3a Safeguarding training within health or interagency
