About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional to join our team at Mountain Healthcare. As a Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional, you will work closely with the police and provide high-quality care to detainees in custody suites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Forensic sampling, including road traffic offence bloods
  • Signposting and conducting referrals, offering support for vulnerabilities and promoting good personal healthcare
  • Delivering substance misuse therapies and acute disease management
  • Assessment and care of detainees and staff in custody suites
  • Working with Liaison and Diversion to identify any mental health needs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Registered Nurse or Paramedic
  • A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience

Previous experience in A&E, walk-in centres, substance misuse, community nursing, police custody, prison, or as a Paramedic Practitioner would be ideal.
