Clinical Healthcare Professional – Disability Assessment

We are seeking experienced Nurses, Paramedics, Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists to join our team as Disability Assessors. As a Disability Assessor, you will play a crucial role in interviewing claimants to understand the challenges they face, and completing thorough assessments to determine how their disability/condition/illness impacts their daily activities.
About the OpportunityAs a Disability Assessor with PFAS, you will have the opportunity to maintain and develop your clinical registration, skills, and knowledge within a structured Monday to Friday contract. You will also have access to protected CPD time and allowance, as well as opportunities for development and progression within our team.
Responsibilities- Analyse information critically to create accurate and concise reports
- Interpret clinical information and evidence
- Maintain professional standards in written communication and adherence to code of conduct
- Provide positive experiences for claimants and colleagues, meeting quality and productivity targets
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 12 months of clinical experience as a qualified healthcare professional. You will also need to have an ability to demonstrate a broad clinical knowledge, and previous experience in using computer software including Microsoft Office.
Essential QualificationsNurses: Qualified Nurse RGN, or dual qualified RMN/RNLD and Member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN)
Physios/OTs: Qualified Chartered Physiotherapist or Qualified Occupational Therapist and Member of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) or College of OT's (COT)
