Job Summary


The Disability Assessor role involves conducting thorough assessments of clients to understand how their disability or health condition affects their daily life. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with a well-established organisation, using your clinical expertise to produce factual reports that help the Department for Work and Pensions determine eligibility for benefits.



About the Role


This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be carrying out 5 client assessments per day. You will conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments, gathering information through conversations and producing comprehensive reports. Your role is to provide objective insights, not to make decisions.



What We Offer



  • £39,500pa salary
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30am to 5pm
  • Full-time and part-time options available (3, 4, or 5 days per week)

Your Skills and Experience


To succeed in this role, you will need to be an NMC-registered nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) or HCPC-qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Occupational Therapist with at least one year of post-registration experience. You should be proactive, keen to learn, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Comfortable working with diverse conditions, including mental health, is essential.
