Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nursing professional to fill the role of Deputy Ward Sister/Charge Nurse. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Clinical Leadership: Provide strong clinical leadership skills and inspire the nursing team towards a common goal.
- Rostering and Allocation: Be involved in rostering and allocation/approval of bank & agency staff.
- Ward Management: Co-ordinate the day to day running of the ward to deliver safe and effective care.
- Deputyship: Deputise for the Sister/Charge Nurse in their absence.
- Complaint Handling: Deal with complaints in a calm and efficient manner.
- Role Modeling: Be a role model in delivering safe and effective patient care.
- Care Planning: Assess, plan and implement care, provide specialist advice and maintain associated and accurate records.
- Staff Support: Provide leadership, support and guidance to staff in monitoring the planning delivery and evaluation of individualised care.
Requirements:
This role requires a highly skilled and experienced nursing professional who can demonstrate strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to inspire and motivate a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership and management, with experience in ward management and staff supervision.
