Job Title: Qualified Social Worker

Job Description:

Willing Care's Permanency Service is seeking a dedicated and passionate social worker to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating life-long positive differences in the lives of children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake meaningful direct work, such as life story work, supporting children aged 0-18.
Be a driving force in motivating the network of professionals around young people to achieve excellent standards of care.

Requirements:

A degree in social work and completion of your ASYE year.
Social Work England registration.
Strong knowledge of statutory legislation, including the Children Act.
Excellent planning skills for assessing and reviewing care needs.
Experience managing an allocated caseload.
A passion for making a difference in the lives of children and young people.

Your Role:

Act as a corporate parent for children in your care.
Champion the views and wishes of children and young people.
Work alongside other professionals to ensure all needs are met.
Provide support for children living with relatives, foster families, adopters, or in children's homes.
Assist young people on their path to independence through statutory visits, assessments, and care planning.
