Senior Social Worker

Willing Care's Permanency Service is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our team. As a Social Worker in this role, you will be responsible for undertaking direct work with children aged 0-18, supporting them in achieving their goals and aspirations. You will work closely with a network of professionals to ensure excellent standards of care are met.
We are looking for someone with a degree in social work, completion of their ASYE year, and Social Work England registration. You should have strong knowledge of statutory legislation, including the Children Act, and excellent planning skills for assessing and reviewing care needs. Experience managing an allocated caseload is also essential.
As a Social Worker in this role, you will be a driving force in motivating the network of professionals around young people to achieve excellent standards of care. You will act as a corporate parent for children in your care, championing their views and wishes, and working alongside other professionals to ensure all needs are met. You will provide support for children living with relatives, foster families, adopters, or in children's homes, and assist young people on their path to independence through statutory visits, assessments, and care planning.
