Sheridan Maine (Midlands) is recruiting for an experienced Business Administration Assistant to join their finance team in Newbury. As a Business Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the finance team with various administrative tasks, including raising and processing invoices, checking payments, and performing account reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Raising and processing invoices
  • Checking payments and allocating to accounts
  • Dealing with invoice and payment queries
  • Monitoring aged debt and undertaking credit control duties
  • Performing account reconciliations
  • Producing management reports
  • Setting up new customers on to the accounting system
  • Assessing customer account limits and performing credit checks
  • Assisting with month-end duties such as accruals and prepayments

In return, you can expect a competitive salary of £31,500 per annum, along with benefits such as AAT study support, bonus, private medical cover, staff discount on company products, life assurance, and 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
