About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Procurement Transformation Lead to join our team at Sea Global. As a Senior Manager within our organization, you will report directly to the Chief Procurement Officer and be responsible for leading the transformation of our procurement function.

This is a brand new, greenfield opportunity for someone to come in and create, transform, and centralise a world-class procurement function for a leading Financial Services Corporation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of our current procurement processes and operating model to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement transformation strategy aligned with our company's overall business objectives.
  • Lead the establishment of a new procurement division from the ground up, including staffing, processes, and systems.
  • Analyse current processes, design and implement new procurement processes and systems that are compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Select and ensure effective integration of new procurement technologies and tools to support our business needs.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, including contract management and supplier performance monitoring.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Finance, Operations, PCM, and Legal departments.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading transformational business process reengineering and change management.
  • Excellent understanding of procurement policies and procedures, including financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence senior management.
  • Desirable qualifications include a degree and MCIPS certification.
