About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Transformation Specialist to lead the transformation of our procurement function. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with our company's overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of our current procurement processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop a business case to compare our current state with a fit-for-purpose solution.
  • Design and implement new procurement processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead the establishment of a new procurement division from the ground up, including staffing, processes, and systems.
  • Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Select and integrate new procurement technologies and tools to support business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure close collaboration and alignment.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading transformational business process reengineering and change management.
  • Excellent understanding of procurement policies and procedures.
  • Proven experience of contract management and negotiating terms.
  • Ideal knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements related to procurement activities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence senior management.
  • Ideal qualifications include a degree and MCIPS certification.
