Fabrication Contracts Engineer

OLG Recruitment is seeking an experienced Fabrication Contracts Manager/Engineer to join our client's team in Grimsby. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for the overall direction of specific jobs and projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, objectives, and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project requirements
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities to drive growth and sustainability for the company
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Provide clear direction on project quality requirements
  • Manage quotations and estimates for work scopes, defining resource requirements
  • Lead the planning and implementation of work scopes
  • Liaise with the team to assemble and coordinate project staff
  • Manage project budget, ensuring accurate accounting, costing, and billing
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools and manage project change
  • Provide direction and support to project team and report progress
  • Assist in recruiting and managing specialists
