About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Yard Manager to join our team at Jewson. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our yard, including managing stock levels, supervising staff, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas
  • Supervise and support a team of staff to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including welcoming customers to the branch and offering help and advice
  • Process and prepare customer orders, including loading and unloading customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift truck
  • Work closely with the management team to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes

Requirements
  • Previous industry experience, preferably in a supervisory or management role
