About the role

As a Governance, Risk, and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the approach to Cyber Governance, Cyber Risk, and Cyber Regulatory Compliance. You will work closely with the Global CISO and the National Grid Cyber Security Senior Leadership team to ensure that the organization's cybersecurity risk management decisions are documented, communicated, and used to support risk decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting the National Grid Cyber Security Senior Leadership team in ensuring that Organizational Context, Risk Management Strategy, Roles, Responsibilities, and Authorities, Policy, Oversight, and Cybersecurity Supply Chain Risk Management are documented and communicated.
  2. Developing and maintaining long-term, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders to deliver desired business outcomes.
  3. Driving adoption and adherence to policies and standards.
  4. Ensuring the organization's approach to GRC is fit for purpose, current, and effectively managed.

About you

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Governance, Risk, and Compliance Manager with a strong background in cybersecurity and risk management. You will have a Master's Degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. You will also have 10+ years of relevant experience and 5+ years of people management experience with relevant industry and professional certifications.

What you'll get

A competitive salary between £71,000 – 89,000, a company car or allowance, a bonus of up to 20% of your salary for stretch performance, and a competitive contributory pension scheme.
