About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Voco Leicester. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef with daily operations and driving financial performance without compromising on quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations and lead the brigade in creating a range of specials
  • Develop and implement innovative ways to drive financial performance and maintain profit margins
  • Monitor portion and waste control, as well as labour productivity, to ensure optimal efficiency
  • Lead and develop the culinary team, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of food and health and safety regulations are met
Requirements
  • Established Sous Chef or Chef de Partie seeking their next challenge
  • Outstanding cooking and leadership skills, with a passion for change and creativity
  • Strong understanding of produce and ingredients, with the ability to influence profit margins
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a hardworking and FUN attitude
