Job Summary

Adecco is seeking a highly skilled Contract and Commissioning Manager to join their Integrated Children's Commissioning & Procurement Team on a temporary basis. This is a 6-month contract with a daily rate of £350 to £400 per day (Umbrella).

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage major strategic contracts across the commissioning cycle, ensuring effective mobilisation and implementation of commercial process management.
  • Implement performance management, supplier relationship management, and governance throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Make recommendations to the client on the strategic allocation of resources to improve outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to drive change and secure improved outcomes in the commissioning programme for Children, Young People, Education, and Health.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in contract management and commissioning in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of the commissioning cycle and contract mobilisation processes.
  • Ability to implement effective performance management and commercial process management.
  • Excellent supplier relationship management and governance skills.
  • Familiarity with the Children's Commissioning & Procurement landscape.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Working Arrangements

This position requires 2 days per week of site presence, with the remaining time spent on remote work.
