Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Wrap Around Care Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with children and make a real difference in their lives.

Job Role
  • Support children in a play-based environment, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Work collaboratively with the Wrap Around Manager to provide high-quality activities and care for pupils.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, maintaining a duty of care and adhering to confidentiality protocols.

Working Pattern

This is a part-time role, working 22.5 hours a week, 38 weeks per year, with a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the school.

Contract Type

This is a fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension or permanent employment.Full-Time Equivalent Salary

The full-time equivalent salary for this role is £24,794.00 per annum, with an actual starting salary of approximately £12,401.

About the Role

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and highly motivated individual who is passionate about working with children. The successful candidate will be trustworthy, full of energy, and enjoy working with children. Experience is desirable but not essential.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support children during activities, ensuring equal opportunities for development.
  • Maintain a duty of care for all children, including intimate care when necessary.
  • Comfort and supervise children who are ill or have had an accident, administering to their needs and referring to the nominated teacher and/or First Aider.
  • Adhere to confidentiality protocols and maintain confidentiality as appropriate.
