About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Voyage Care. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with acquired brain injuries and associated needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with complex needs
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Encourage independence and participation in activities, such as socializing, hobbies, and community engagement
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Monitor and report any changes in an individual's condition or behavior

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a care setting, preferably with individuals with acquired brain injuries
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleepovers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain confidentiality
