About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at The Lindsay Care Home. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, while also inspiring and developing your team to be their best every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit, ensuring the smooth operation of care services and maintaining high standards of care.
  • Responsible for all clinical duties, including issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and accurate record keeping.
  • Leading and managing a team of Care Assistants, including responsibility for all shift handovers and training new staff members.
  • Building relationships with residents, their families, and external teams, such as GPs and District Nurses.
  • Assisting residents with a range of personal care duties and promoting their independence and well-being.
