Thomson Cooper & Co is a leading, independent accountancy firm based in Dunfermline, providing a wide range of services to clients across various sectors. We are currently seeking an experienced Bankruptcy and Assets Manager to join our team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure. They will be responsible for managing assets, dealing with creditor claims and queries, liaising with banks, and responding to stakeholder queries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing assets, including realisation of book debts, property, and cash at bank
  • Dealing with creditor claims and queries
  • Liaising with banks to obtain bank balances and statements
  • Assisting in preparing initial employee letters and ascertaining employee claims
  • Responding to stakeholder queries

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working within a professional office environment in a similar role and possess strong IT skills, including proficiency in software such as MS Office and document management systems.
