Job Description Overview

CR Smith is seeking a skilled IT professional to lead technology proposition, security, and data-driven solutions. The Director will oversee IT strategy, operations, and infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving digital transformation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with CR Smith's business goals, focusing on digital innovation, customer engagement, and operational efficiency
  • Leading digital transformation projects to modernise systems, improve workflows, and deliver data-driven insights to the business
  • Ensuring a high-performance, secure, and resilient IT infrastructure that meets the company's needs
  • Overseeing the management and maintenance of all hardware, software, networks, and databases
  • Driving the adoption of cloud technologies, virtualisation, and other innovations to improve scalability and cost-effectiveness
  • Leading efforts to secure the company's information assets and maintain data integrity, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Leading, enhancing and developing a high-performing IT team capable of meeting current and future business needs
  • Acting as the primary point of contact between IT and other departments, ensuring technology solutions are aligned with business requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT systems architecture, cloud solutions, network management, and enterprise applications. They will also have expertise in IT service management, cybersecurity best practices, and regulatory compliance.

Estimated salary range: £60,000 - £80,000 per year. On offer is an excellent benefits package.
