Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Cost Manager to join our team in Fife. The successful candidate will play a critical role in steering Greenfield and Brownfield petrochemical projects to success.

This is a challenging opportunity for a motivated individual with excellent commercial management skills and experience in cost control and contract management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Implement sub-contractor post-contract duties (e.g., AFP, change, contract management) and commercial control of direct site-related resources.
  2. Evaluate and report on costs and values for projects.
  3. Liaise with operations personnel to ensure accurate processing of labour, management, materials, plant, and subcontractor costs.
  4. Forecast revenue, margin, and cash flow for live and upcoming projects.
  5. Carry out cost management tasks supported by the Commercial Manager and Project Managers.
Requirements
  • 5 years' experience in the construction industry, preferably in a Quantity Surveying position.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience with NEC 3 and NEC 4 contracts essential.
  • Excellent communication, numeric, and computer literacy skills, proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, but also under own initiative.
