The HSE Recruitment Network is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to provide interim support to a large FMCG business in the UK.

This role offers a competitive daily rate of £500, paid via an umbrella company and is likely to run for an initial period of approximately 3 months.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the current health and safety culture across 7 UK sites, with one direct report and over 400 staff members.

You will need to be commutable to Northamptonshire, where 3 out of 7 sites are located, and willing to travel approximately 4 days a week to a site in the North West.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Health and Safety Consultant at this level and hold a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) level qualification. They should also possess strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience as a Health and Safety Consultant in a similar capacity
  • FMC experience is desirable, but not essential
  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) level qualification
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
