Job Summary:

The National Children's Bureau (NCB) is seeking a Deputy Director to lead the delivery of our Health, Wellbeing, Participation, and Service Improvement programmes of work. This challenging and exciting role will oversee the development and implementation of our service improvement consultancy offer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our Health, Wellbeing, Participation, and Service Improvement programmes of work.
  • Oversee the further development of our service improvement consultancy offer.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote children and young people's voice and support the children's workforce.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support service integration and improve health outcomes for children and young people.
  • Provide leadership and management to a team of professionals to achieve programme objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership and management experience in the field of children's health.
  • Strong commitment to promoting children and young people's voice.
  • Clear vision for supporting the children's workforce and improving health outcomes.
  • Excellent leadership, people, and programme management skills.
  • Strong IT and writing skills, with experience of managing contracts.
