Job Opportunity

National Children's Bureau is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Director of Policy, Communications and Strategy to join our team.

This pivotal role will be at the heart of our next chapter, building on our success and growing our impact for children and families.

The Deputy Director will be responsible for harnessing NCB's specialisms within a broad understanding of children's lives, providing high-level policy and political analysis.

Working across the UK, the Deputy Director will play a key role in developing and leading our work with policy makers, bringing evidence and children's voice to the heart of government.

The postholder will lead a multi-faceted team of policy and communications staff, working across all NCB teams and with strategic external partners to develop ambitious policy, public affairs and communication plans.

The Deputy Director will also hold overall operational responsibility for implementation of NCB's corporate strategy, leading annual operational plans and impact reporting.
