About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Painting and Decorating Trainer to join our education team at HMP Liverpool. As a Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality vocational training to our learners, developing their practical and theoretical skills in line with industry expectations for health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, learner-focused vocational training in Painting and Decorating
  • Work with groups of learners to develop their practical and theoretical skills
  • Collaborate with industry professionals to provide an overview of employment opportunities and develop learners' aspirations
  • Monitor learners' progress against course criteria

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the relevant vocational area
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to track and monitor learners' progress
  • Commitment to gaining relevant qualifications, including the Award in Education and the TAQA assessment qualification
