About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Spray Painter to join our Workshop team at Skilled Jobs Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for spray painting vehicles in our workshop, ensuring high-quality finishes and adhering to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remove rough spots on vehicle panels
- Treat vehicles with proofing chemicals
- Sand surfaces by hand and with power sanders
- Mask areas not to be painted with tape and paper
- Colour match and mix paints to match paint shades, and select pre-mixed paint
- Apply primer and finishing coats using spray-guns, and sand surfaces between
Requirements:
- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training
- At least three years of relevant experience
- Able to use a pneumatic-powered spray gun and the ability to carry out minor mechanical repairs
What We Offer:
A competitive salary of $73,150 - $80,000 AU per annum, plus superannuation.
