We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Surgical Account Manager to join our team at Teleflex. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our innovative surgical products to theatre-based staff, including surgeons, theatre nursing staff, and procurement professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including surgeons and theatre nursing staff
- Provide product training and support to customers, including demonstrations and hands-on training
- Collect and provide feedback on product performance and customer needs
- Manage contracts and negotiate with procurement teams
- Attend marketing and internal training events, both in the UK and occasionally overseas
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A solid clinical background with a strong interest in laparoscopic surgery
- Experience working in hospital theatres, preferably in a sales or medical device-related role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
- Autonomy and self-motivation, with a willingness to work outside of your comfort zone
- Full training will be provided on our products, but you will need to be eager to learn and adapt quickly
