We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Discounts & Waivers Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting authors with discount and waiver requests, in close consultation with the Springer Nature Open Access Policy team. They will work with stakeholders to assist with the creation of discount codes and tokens, apply discounts and waivers in accordance with policy instructions, and provide expert customer service to internal teams and external contacts. Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining documentation and records, creating and interpreting reports, and communicating updates to management.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have a strong attention to detail. They will also have experience in providing high-quality customer service and be able to work effectively in a team environment. A background or interest in science, publishing, or a related field is desirable.
