North East London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team. This role presents a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment, making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people.

We offer a competitive salary range, estimated to be £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

This position involves working collaboratively with schools, children, young people, and families to develop plans for interventions and agreed outcomes.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years' experience of working with evidence-based approaches to low mood, anxiety, and behavior problems with children and young people.

In addition to this experience, we require:

  • A graduate qualification from a recognized institution and eligibility for registration as a full member of the appropriate professional body (e.g., HCPC, NMC, BABCP).
  • Formal training in CBT or equivalent experience working within CAMHS.

We also value candidates with experience in caseload management, providing supervision, and delivering workshops to professionals, young people, and/or parents/carers.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and deliver culturally sensitive support and supervision.
