Supporting Students with Special Educational Needs

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wakefield. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success and well-being of our students with special educational needs.

Responsibilities and Expectations

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to students, including maintaining a safe learning environment, recording student progress, and providing personal care as required. You will also be expected to contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment and communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of three months' experience working with SEND children. You should also have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident, along with a child enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to apply. Additionally, you will require appropriate qualifications and training for the role.
