Job Overview:

The Cellar Trust is seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to lead its Safe Spaces children and young people's service. As a Safe Spaces Team Leader, you will oversee a team of Crisis Support Workers and deliver one-to-one crisis support to young people in mental health crisis.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. ">
  2. Provide day-to-day supervision and support to Crisis Support Workers to ensure the effective running of the service.">
  3. Lead shifts, including organizing rotas/covering absences, leading team meetings and handovers, and taking responsibility for health & safety.">
  4. Manage any issues on shift, such as safeguarding and serious incidents, escalating as necessary and following all required procedures.">
  5. Support the Service Lead in various duties, including managing safeguarding concerns, interviewing, reporting, client feedback procedures, and auditing records.">
  6. Deliver one-to-one support sessions to young people in mental health crisis in a recovery-focused and person-centered way, building confidence and helping them move forward.">
  7. Evaluate client notes and information recorded in an accurate and timely manner and kept updated.">
  8. Manage referrals and book appointments.">
  9. Make onward referrals and signpost where necessary.">
  10. Offer outreach sessions within the community, such as at care homes, community centers, schools, and in client homes.">
  11. Assist in risk assessments with multi-disciplinary staff, highlighting any changes in clients' presentation relevant to their safety plan and provide feedback accordingly.">
  12. Liaise with professionals and organizations across the district, including referrers and partners.">
