About the Role:

Dunbar Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) support professional to join a well-respected specialist SEN school in Wolverhampton.

This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for supporting children and young people with complex needs, including Autism and Behavioural challenges.

You will work closely with class teachers and other support staff to deliver tailored educational and emotional support to students, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEN, including Autism and Behavioural needs.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support each student's unique learning requirements.
  • Proven experience working in a similar role, ideally within an SEN school setting.
  • Practical knowledge of supporting children with Autism and Behavioural needs.
  • Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (e.g., CACHE Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent) are advantageous.
