About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Needs (SEN) Support Professional to join our team at an outstanding school in Wimbledon.

Job Summary

This is a temporary position, with the option to become permanent. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide support and assistance to students with SEN, specifically those with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH), and associated difficulties.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting their academic and personal development.
  2. Assist in the implementation of Educational, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  3. Collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive learning environment.
  4. Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere for students' growth and development.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience working with students with ASC, SEMH, and associated difficulties.
  • A compassionate and patient approach towards supporting students' individual needs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in supporting individuals with SEN.
  • Availability to work Monday – Friday (8:30-15:30) term time.
