Job Description

We're seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Special Education Support Professional. In this role, you'll work closely with our experienced teachers and support staff to provide tailored support to our pupils, ensuring they receive the best possible education and care.

Responsibilities

  • Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to our pupils, adapting to their individual needs and abilities.
  • Assist with implementing education policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide individualized support to pupils, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and organize the classroom, resources, and student groupings to create a stimulating learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of individualized education plans, ensuring our pupils receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Work closely with our multi-professional team to ensure good working relationships and a positive school culture.

About the School

Westbourne School caters for pupils aged 11-18, with a growing student body of 85 pupils across two sites. We're committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment, where our pupils can thrive and achieve their full potential.
