Compliance Manager (AML) Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our Risk and Compliance team in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory guidance in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective AML policies and procedures to mitigate financial crime risk.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with AML and Sanctions legislation.
  • Stay up-to-date with current AML regulations and regulatory guidance in the UK.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on AML-related matters.
  • Contribute to the development of our Risk and Compliance team.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a Compliance or Risk role, preferably in a law firm environment.
  • Strong knowledge of AML regulations and Sanctions legislation in the UK.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Hybrid working options available.
