Care Support Worker

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at the Vale of Glamorgan Council. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents in a residential setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal, physical, and emotional care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and personal care.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the needs of each resident are met.
- Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, promoting the dignity and well-being of residents at all times.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of care policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check required.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
