About the Role


The Very Group is seeking a talented Junior Merchandiser to join their Fashion, Sports, and Home team. As a Junior Merchandiser, you will work closely with the buying and merchandising teams to develop commercial range plans that meet customer needs. Your key responsibilities will include analyzing historical performance, market trends, and competitor ranges to create future plans.


Key Responsibilities


• Responsible for planning with support from the Merchandiser


• Ensuring the departmental framework commercializes the product strategy and delivers business KPIs


• Driving the department vision and strategy forward in partnership with Buying and Merch Financial Planning


• Capturing and reviewing lessons learned, providing updates to senior management


• Developing strong relationships and ways of working with brands/suppliers


• Support to develop current systems and processes to ensure best practice


About You


We are looking for a retail professional with merchandising experience and a strong understanding of Excel. You should be able to produce, analyze, and articulate findings from reports, and have a great attitude and willingness to learn. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for data and analysis, and be able to prioritize and manage their workload effectively.
