Job Overview

ArrowXL is seeking a skilled Transport Shift Manager to lead our dedicated team in Worcester. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Transport and Service Delivery functions, providing exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of skilled service delivery crews, First Line Managers, and Team Leaders
  • Efficiently manage fleet utilization, resource planning, and cost control
  • Ensure legal compliance and safety
  • Identify opportunities for improved efficiencies within the Transport function and implement changes
  • Responsible for the resourcing, development, and management of colleagues within the team
  • Make prompt decisions to protect customer service and delivery schedules, while remaining commercially focused

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years' experience in a similar transport management role
  • Experience and knowledge of improving transport operations and introducing operational excellence
  • Excellent knowledge of Road Transport Regulations and a National CPC
  • First-class people skills, able to motivate, influence, coach, and develop teams
  • Full UK driving license
